Ori and the Blind Forest Definitive Edition delayed to 2016
The expanded "Definitive Edition" re-release of Ori and the Blind Forest won't make its originally intended 2015 release date, developer Moon Studios said on Twitter.
That may be obvious to fans of the original who realize that this year is soon coming to a close, but the studio made it official, promising it "will have more news to share soon."
Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition was announced at this year's gamescom convention. The developer promised to add new content to the game and incorporate fan feedback for the re-release. Moon Studios expected the updated version of Ori to hit sometime during the holidays, but is now scheduled Spring 2016.
The developer didn't expand on the reasons behind the delay of the Definitive Edition.
