Minecraft's PlayStation 4 edition will make use of the DualShock 4's touchpad, Mojang said Thursday in a progress report on this version of the game, which is due to arrive in August.

In addition to the touchpad, which can be used for crafting and menu navigation, Minecraft will feature worlds "36 times bigger than the ones you might be used to on PlayStation 3," Mojang said on the PlayStation Blog. The game will fully support all the social sharing options of the PlayStation 4 as well.
