Hearthstone: Pyroblast and Blood Imp got Nerfed
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is getting closer to the Open Beta phase. Blizzard’s Community Manager Zeriyah recently released a list of changes that are supposed to be applied sometime this week. After collecting a lot of feedback they decided to nerf some cards in order to create a more balanced game and to increase the variety of cards that players will choose when creating a deck.
The cards that were nerfed are: Sylvanas Windrunner, Blood Imp, Defender of Argus, Pyroblast, Dark Iron Dwarf, Abusive Sergeant, Warsong Commander and Novice Engineer. Only two cards were buffed a little and those are: Unleash the Hounds and Charge. You can check the entire list of changes on the official forum.
“This should be our last big set of balance changes; once we go live, we plan to make very few changes, and only if they are absolutely necessary”. So just a few minor bugs remain to be fixed until Hearthstone goes Open Beta, but that will happen in the next patch.
Ben Brode, Senior Game Designer on Hearthstone said on his twitter page that the minion swapping, card overlap and hovering minion bugs won’t be fixed on this week patch.
We still have to wait a little longer, but Open Beta phase can’t be too far away.
